In a Philly prison yard in 1793, a balloon pilot took flight in a hydrogen gas balloon, marking the first manned balloon launch in the Americas. We think that’s pretty cool, but in 2023 we want to do things a little bigger and louder.

Vendors Wanted
We are opening up the event to a wide variety entertainers, food trucks, and vendors from Chester county and beyond. If you are interested in participating, use the form to submit your information.
Volunteers Needed
As a hot air balloon festival volunteer, you can get hands-on with the balloons, assist balloon pilots with setup, and you also get free entry and a festival t-shirt. There are AM and PM opportunities available.
Media & Influencers
Here’s your chance to experience a hot air balloon flight for FREE with Philly Balloon Fest! We are inviting members of the media and social media influencers to apply for a free flight and a General Admission ticket (1 per day) to Philly Balloon Fest.
