An American Tradition
In a Philly prison yard in 1793, some a balloon pilot took flight in a hot air balloon marking the first balloon launch in the Americas. We think that’s pretty cool, but in 2022 we want to do things a little bigger and louder.
Grab your smartphone and mark your calendar on July 1-4, 2022 for a new American tradition, the Philly Balloon & Music Festival. Get ready to gaze upon dozens of balloons painting the majestic Chester County sky while glimpsing the icon Philadelphia Skyline. Rock to the Rolling thunder of our main stage featuring Philly’s best local bands. Crawl your way through the best local food, beer, and wine this region has to offer.
You’ll find fireworks, bounce houses, family entertainment, hayrides, and more.
Join us over the Fourth of July weekend and celebrate this American tradition!

Join us from the air OR the ground! Enjoy this amazing spectacle as dozens of colorful balloons take flight together at sunrise & sunset.
Hot Air Balloon Glow
Watch a spectacular show of balloons igniting their burners illuminating the evening sky with dazzling colors!
Tethered Rides
Enjoy a short, gentle float up to about 40 feet for one of the best views in Chester County.
